HTML Templates

I've included the following HTML templates that you can customize in your text editor for your own use. You can install these HTML templates, either collectively or individually, from the CD-ROM. They'll be automatically installed to C:\MyPages\Template or any other folder that you specify:

   * Calendar -- Use this template to create a monthly schedule of events, for instance. Just add the month and year and renumber the days to match the month. Just type your events inside of the TD cells for the days.

   * Frames2 -- This is a template for creating a two-frame Web site, with a sidebar menu on the left that controls the contents of the main frame on the right. For instructions, just open index.html in your browser.

   * Frames3 -- This is a template for creating a more advanced "nested" three-frame Web site. It is composed of two upper vertical frames (columns) and one lower horizontal frame (a row). Using the "navigation" links in the lower frame, you can control the content of both upper frames, while only having to click a single link. Open index.html in your browser for more details and instructions.

   * Genealogy -- This is template that you can use to create your very own genealogy Web site. For more info, read the readme.txt files in the Genealogy folder and in the gedcom folder.

   * Generic -- This is a collection of generic templates that you can customize in your text editor for any purpose that you want. Just open templ1.html, templ2.html, and so on, in your browser and your text editor. There is also a template included that uses styles: styles.html.

   * Newsletter -- Use this template to create your own online newsletter. It uses tables to create a masthead, table of contents, and article summaries. Open index.html in your browser to see for yourself.

   * Resume -- Create your own online resume. Just open index.html in your browser. Open it in your text editor to customize it. Just fill in your personal info, job history, education details, and so on.
